Who knew that there is a special instrument that can tell you exactly where you are, on this blue planet? It is named GPS and it means Global Positioning System. GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites travelling high in orbit around Earth capture your location by comparing the time taken for radio signals to return, bouncing off you. We use this amazing technology for so many tasks each and every day.
GPS (Global Positioning system): It is another example of the navigation that assists individuals in determining their current position and a new one. It’s receiving signals from satellites that orbit the Earth. That information includes where they are, how fast they're moving and what time it is, which the varies about 16 times every million years. Because it knows how long it takes for these signals to get to the GPS device, then analyze that information to determine EXACTLY where on Earth you are. Isn’t that incredible?
For good GPS performance and accurate information many satellites are required. 24 Satellites which Circle the Earth at ~12,000 Miles Above.FAIL! These satellites are orbiting the earth all the time and sending signals that can be picked up by a GPS device. GPS can easily tell where we are because many satellites are working simultaneously, providing a quick and accurate way to know our location.
GPS: your location is calculated with the help of a special computer program. The system uses multiple satellites simultaneously to triangulate the location of a device based on signals between them. GPS can then take this distance information and figure out where on Earth you are in relation to the satellites that supply the signals. This occurs almost concurrently so you can get your location within a blink of an eye!
There are many ways to use GPS technologyisc useful in our everyday lives. For example, it helps people with driving or walking direction. It is also used to measure land, track things and create maps. Most cell phones have GPS and so provide directions step by step to get to your destination. In addition, vehicles now use the GPS to give up-to-date information on traffic and to avoid tailbacks while driving. Thank God for GPS; getting lost is no longer a serious issue.
MGPS is what they call AR GPS on steroids This makes it possible to trace cars, humans and so on in real-time. Meaning you can track their location and activity at all times. The MGPS can come in handy for professionals who deal with vehicles, deliverable goods or safeguarded valuables. MGPS will help you save and equipped by keeping track of everything running smooth.
